On 26th February, a community awareness programme on Child Psychological Well-being in Contemporary Times was successfully conducted at Kazipara Primary School near Baruipur, South 24 Parganas.
The programme was organised by the Antara Community Mental Health Unit in collaboration with the MSc & BSc Nursing students of Sister Nivedita University.
Around 40–50 parents attended the session. Through engaging skits and informative chart presentations, the students highlighted ways to identify early signs of psychological issues in children and manage them effectively at school and within family settings. Teachers also actively participated, reinforcing the importance of early intervention and emotional support for children’s holistic development.
We sincerely thank all parents, teachers, and students for their enthusiastic participation and commitment towards nurturing children’s mental well-being.
